Details:

All forms are to be completed and handed to your tuntininkas (scout group leader) before
the camp or handed in at the camp upon arrival/registering. We would need an
indication of attendance ASAP.
Who can attend stovykla (camp)?
The Vilniaus Tunto Stovykla is open to all Australian Lithuanian Scouts, their immediate
family members (i.e. spouse, parents, grandparents and siblings) and friends. Forms for
new scouts will be available at stovykla.
Children who are under 6 years of age on 2nd Jan 2019 are welcome at Stovykla as long as
one of their parents/ guardian accompanies them and is responsible for them for the
entire duration of stovykla.
How do I register for stovykla?

All scouts will need to complete the registration package. Most importantly, the
registration form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian for all scouts under 18 years
of age as of 2nd Jan 2019.
Registration at camp is on Wednesday 2nd Jan 2019 between 12:30 am and 2:00pm. It is
important to register during this period, as activities begin in the afternoon.

Prices:

Full-time attendance at camp
$250 per person
• $230 per person for 2nd family member
• $200 per person for 3rd family member
• Free for any additional family members
Daily attendance rate
• $50 (first day), $40 (all other days) per day per person
All costs are GST inclusive.

    Glenhaven Park Camp Site is in a peaceful, picturesque valley at Stockport SA, 20 minutes
    north of Gawler. Glenhaven Park is situated at the start of the Clare Valley and is only ½
    hour away from the Barossa Valley.
    Activities will include; High & Low ropes courses, Giant Swing, archery, orienteering,
    swimming and hiking.
    Seven cabins (fully air-conditioned with a toilet & bathroom and separated leader’s
    quarters), will be used for younger scouts. 5 Cabins that sleep 14 people with separated
    leader’s quarters
    2 Cabins that sleep 8 people (one cabin wheelchair accessible).
    Fully equipped kitchen with dining area to seat 100 people in air-conditioned comfort.
    Fenced parklands with an oval, a 12 metre swimming pool, enclosed recreation shed and a
    large area of natural bush setting.
    Stockport Observatory – just 3 kms from the campsite, houses the largest telescope in
    South Australia.

    How to get to stovykla:

    Estimated travel time from Lithuanian House in Adelaide is 1 hour, a distance of
    approximately 86 km northeast of the city.
    We are organising a bus to take people from Lithuanian House at Norwood to the camp. If
    you require transport please let us know what time you will be at Lithuanian House, how
    many are coming. We need this information ASAP so we can make arrangements. Travel
    on this bus will be an extra $10:00 per person, to contribute to costs.
    A bus will also be made available to transfer people back to Adelaide on the last day of
    camp. Again, if you require transport back to Adelaide, we need to know times etc.
    If you have your own car
    Travel from Adelaide along Main North Road, to Elizabeth, continue in the direction of
    Gawler, take the Gawler bypass to Gawler Belt, (Horrocks Highway (Main North Road) A32)
    to Roseworthy, Templers then Stockport. Turn left at Ayliffe’s Bridge Road until you cross
    over the Light River and Glenhaven will be on the left.

    Further information:

    Stovykla will officially close on Tuesday 8th Jan 2017 at 1:00 pm. Lunch will be provided
    on that day.
    Visitors Day
    Visitors Day will be Saturday 5th January. Please come for the day, lunch is at 12:30,
    dinner will be at 6:00 followed by camp fire activities.
