Who can attend the Rudens Stovykla (Autumn Camp)?
The 2025 Australian Regional Scout Camp – “Gamtoj Kartu” Stovykla / Together with Nature Camp- is open to all Australian Lithuanian Scouts, their immediate family members (i.e. spouse, parents, grandparents and siblings) and friends.
Children who are under 7 years of age are welcome at camp as long as one of their parents / carers accompanies them and is responsible for them for the entire duration of the camp. Children under 5 can attend for free.

Ruta will email you the two forms to complete for every individual attending. These must be signed by a parent or legal guardian for all scouts under 18 years of age. These are the Personal Health Form, and Waiver of Liability Form.
Plus, she will email you the “Gamtoj Kartu” Camp program, what to bring to camp list, current scouts uniform information, and of course BANKING DETAILS.
All forms are to be completed and emailed in or handed in at the camp upon arrival.

Gamtoj Kartu Camp costs:
For the 7 days:
1st – $350 2nd – $300 3rd – $250 4th $50 5th Free
Overnight stay – $70 a night
Visitors – $20 a day

All scouts / families / visitors entering the Douglas Scrub grounds, will need to drive into the Douglas Scrub entrance, which is opposite Woodstock Winery, in the McLaren Vale area, South Australia.
There is a front entrance gate that is to be kept shut, and access is through a keypad – with code. Ruta will provide the code details to all who need access.
Watch for signs – Lithuanian flags, to drive through to the registration / accommodation area.
Accomodation
There are two buildings booked – Douglas House and Paxlease House.
Douglas House – Kitchen, store room, dining area, and some bunk style rooms for leaders. A shower/ toilet inside. Additional ablutions block outside.
Paxlease House – for red tie and family accommodation- with large bunk style room accommodation. Inside toilets and showers. Large activity room for inside activities.
Camping
There are large, grassed areas to set up tents on Forest Reserve and Pine Flat.
Visitor Day is on Sunday 5th January 2025
Visitors / parents / friends can visit for the day.
Cost will be $20 for the day per person – lunch / dinner included.
Watch assorted environmental activities, tree house construction, add to the clay village.
Join in with the Sports Afternoon.
Come for lunch / dinner and stay on for laužas – campfire, songs skits and fun!
Program highlights over the Gumtoj Kartu Stoykla week –
Snake Catcher show, tie-dying camp T shirt, speed mazes,
tree house construction / clay village construction / swimming pool afternoon /
hiking day at Douglas Scrub and Onkaparinga Gorge / Strawberry Farm visit / environmental crafts / beach day – aquatics activites / high ropes courses / climbing wall / camp obstacle course / orienteering and other activites.
